Golmodap is a character in the Children of the Rune: Winterer.
Apperance[]
Golmodap has a body much larger than a human, four huge wings resembling a bat, and a body with an unclear shape like fog. The wings are studded with numerous claws, and the tentacles that emerge from them act as the monster's hands. Where the eyes should be, there are two blazing crimson flames.
There is only one cure for the wounds suffered by Golmodap: its heart. It has only one heart, and one heart can only treat one person. If it is split into several parts, it is possible to treat several people with one heart, but in this case, it only postpones death for a few years rather than a complete cure.
Biography[]
Someone said or any wrongs... ...influcted by their enemies. [1]
The nanny of the House of Jineman said there's a ghost on Emera Lake that snatch children away. At the end of the field was a dead lake named the Emera Lake. The Emera Lake was a shady swamp where even the midday sun barely reached, with rotten aquatic plants tangled together like a witch's tresses. The nanny said Young Master was free to go anywhere he pleased, as long as it wasn't the Emera Lake. The nanny said so Young Master don't go anywhere near that Emera Lake, not even in broad daylight, the ghost there's waiting with gleaming red eyes, looking for children to devour. When Boris didn't respond immediately, the nanny's voice grew louder. The nanny said excuse her, Young Master, he's listening to her, the ghost is visible even from the manor after the sun set, ever since she was a little child like him, she has always noticed the ghost on stormy days. Boris, the Young Master of the House of Jineman, was half-believing what his nanny said, but he believed it anyway. Even though he went out of the manor every stormy night and stared into the darkness, he never saw the red eyes his nanny had mentioned. However, since the story was true not only from his nanny but also from everyone else, especially the older servants, he was reluctant to dismiss it as a lie. If only the darkness that hovered around the mansion was nothing more than the ghost of the lake. Someone said he doesn't need to worry about such things, little Boris. When Boris felt his older brother Yevgnen's hand stroking his head, he looked up at the sky. [2]
Boris asked in which direction. Yulken answered Emera Lake. Boris said but Emera Lake is... This time, even Boris couldn't easily calm his startled heart. That was where the red-eyed ghosts were! As if Boris had noticed Boris's feelings, his father continued speaking. Yulken said there are no ghosts, Boris don't believe everything the old servants tell him, how he can do that and call himself a man of the House of Jineman, the rumors will ensure nobody looked for him Emera Lake, he should hide near the lake, and he'll come and get him after this is over, that's right, he should wait where there is a clump of three trees with black bark at the base of their trunks, he heard him. Boris had no time to respond properly. Tulkh had just whispered a magical word into Yulken's ear. It was a light ticking signal. Yulken raised his hand. Yulken shouted Boris should go. Yulken jumped up and started running without looking back at his son. Boris shouted father. Was this the last Boris would see of his father? Boris' father's shadow was buried in the darkness. [3]
Boris asked Yevgnen, what that was thing, that one is one of the ghosts of Emera Lake, he did just kill one. Yevgnen answered no. Boris asked so there's something more. Yevgnen answered yes. Yevgnen, who was holding his sword on the ground, trembled slightly, so much so that Boris didn't notice. There was no guarantee that skill and luck would come together. No matter what happened, he would protect his younger brother Boris... Licking his dry lips, Yevgnen waited for his father to come quickly. Only then would Yevgnen be able to leave this place. Yevgnen wouldn't have to see the 'red-eyed ghosts'. [4]
The image of the pretty and kind Yenichka, with her reddened eyes, going wild and tearing her clothes like an animal was vivid in Vlado's mind. Yenichka fell for her younger brother's trick and wandered around Emera Lake to find her fiancé, and eventually died at her older brother's hands. [5]
Vlado thought the red eyes of the ghost that had taken away the angelic Yeni. Would Yeni be in there somewhere? On which layer? The creature's claws simultaneously scratch the human mind and body. Once branded, it's over. A soul captured by such a ghost would be forever imprisoned, it can never be comforted... When Yeni's body was brought to the swamp and dumped, neither Yulken nor Vlado were in the Emera Lake. Yevgnen thought when would the red-eyed ghosts that gained their strength from the bodies they fed on make their appearance. Before Yevgnen realized it yet, Boris felt the silver light of his Snowguard faintly brightening. Had something approached them? The wind hissed. Boris said quietly. Boris asked Yevgnen, Snowguard is... Soon Yevgnen noticed it too. The armor's glow grew brighter and brighter, turning into a maddening light that obscured Yevgnen's vision. Even Yevgnen's cheeks flashed white. Yevgnen instinctively knew why. The armor had smelled death. Gggggggggg... Boris can hear it. No, no... Yes, Boris can hear it. That was the only way to describe it. Something was approaching from across the swamp. Enveloped in black flames, with glowing red eyes... While Yevgnen glared at the thing through the darkness, Boris was transfixed, hearing an eerie voice that pierced not his ears but his head. Boris couldn't move an inch. Even though the thing Boris had been so afraid of was approaching. [6]
Something said what a pretty boy, hehehe. [6]
